Restaurant Bathroom Partitions

Restaurant Bathroom Partitions

Restaurant Restroom Partitions

People do care about how a bathroom looks, whether they realize it or not. Customers always notice the cleanliness and accessibility of bathrooms, both public and private ones. Investing in quality commercial bathroom partitions can significantly impact impressions. And patrons can judge restaurant bathrooms even more strictly, so having an appealing and functioning bathroom is crucial to a successful restaurant’s business.

Aside from ensuring tidiness and functionality, aesthetics are another useful — and often overlooked — part of bathroom design. Partitions for a restaurant bathroom are even more overlooked, but they are crucial to maintaining a neat, modern and inviting atmosphere for your restaurant and its patrons. Like with any other aspect of design, choosing the right restroom partitions for a restaurant is a multi-tiered task. Luckily, the professionals at One Point Partitions can help you make the decision that’s right for your restaurant.

Choose the Right Partition Material

Choose the Right Restroom Partition Material
The first thing you need to decide on is the material for the restroom partitions for your restaurant. Of course, the cost is a massive consideration and should be factored in along with materials and design.

One Point Partitions offers five options. Which one is right for you depends on what you have in mind for your restaurant bathroom when it comes to style, cost and longevity.

Solid Plastic

Not too expensive and capable of enduring water damage, solid plastic partitions for a restaurant bathroom tend to work well in any environment, be it dry or humid. Their resistance to water damage means that they are also incredibly easy to clean, with just soap and water often doing the trick.

Plastic partitions come in 16 different colors, yet not all spaces can pull off this look. These long-lasting and extremely durable partitions likely work best in casual restaurants or staff-only areas.

Plastic Laminate

One of the lowest-priced materials for restroom partitions, plastic laminate a wonderful budget-friendly option. Plastic laminate has a particleboard core with laminate glued to it. These plastic laminate bathroom stalls are available in 48 different colors, allowing you to choose the shade that best fits the aesthetic of your restaurant.

However, because plastic laminate is bonded with glue, it’s the best fit for any location where there is not likely to be an excess of moisture.

Powder-Coated Steel

The most cost-efficient option for restroom partitions for a restaurant is powder-coated steel. Despite its name, this material is cardboard covered in sheets of steel. The cardboard core lowers its overall weight and its price as well. Our powder-coated toilet partitions come in 15 different color options, derived from a specialized process where colored powder is baked into the steel.

This is a sturdy material for bathroom partitions and provides a fair level of protection, making it relatively durable. Like the plastic laminate, it’s best used in areas where there is not likely to be an excess of moisture.

Phenolic Compact Laminate

Phenolic compact laminate (PCL) is multiple kraft and surface sheets of paper layered with phenolic resin. With a thin profile and an extremely durable surface, thanks to the hardened resin, this type of partition is long-lasting and excellent value for your dollar.

The resin on a PCL partition protects it from damage caused by mold, dirt, rust and corrosion. Plus, it’s almost as durable as stainless steel at half the cost of stainless steel.

Stainless Steel

The most expensive option is also the most worthwhile for some and the longest lasting for all.

Our stainless steel bathroom partitions are easy to clean and resistant to most pollutants, including rust, corrosion, scratches and vandalism. It’s also the strongest partition material and won’t dent, allowing it to look fresh and new even years later. While stainless steel is more expensive up front, it can be an excellent long-term investment.

However, like solid plastic, stainless steel partitions may not suit every restaurant bathroom, and there is only one finish option. Still, there is a classic look to this material that would complement modern, minimalist aesthetics.
