Having worked with bathroom stalls for more than a decade, we know a lot goes into an employee bathroom or one that’s open to the public. From design to ordering parts, installing partitions and more, we’ve got you covered. Our design team will work with you individually to create a layout that’s perfect for your space. Our partitions are available in an array of materials, patterns and colors. We also have instructional videos that explain how you can install your partitions easily — and our dedicated support team is always happy to answer questions.

Even if you’ve never installed bathroom stalls before, you probably already know they have a lot of parts. Dividing panels, doors and latches are a few of the parts of a bathroom stall, but they are far from the only pieces necessary to create a functional restroom stall.

Bathroom Partition Headrails

The overhead bracing system for bathroom partitions is the partition headrails. These provide structural support at the top of the pilasters, ensure the top of the pilaster stays vertically aligned and support the partition door so it swings properly.

Bathroom Partition Panels

As you can imagine, a bathroom stall’s panels are among its most important parts. Panels separate one stall from another and create a private place in which people can relieve themselves discreetly. Our nice-looking panels are available in five material types: powder-coated steel, laminate, solid plastic, phenolic and stainless steel.

Bathroom Partition Door

Just as the panels are vital bathroom partition parts, so is a stall’s door. A door is what enables a user to shut out the outside world, after all. They key to bathroom partition doors is to ensure they’re easy for all sorts of people to use, including children, young adults and people with disabilities. Our products are ADA-compliant, which means they’re designed to accommodate people who have physical challenges.

Bathroom Partition Latch

If you’ve ever been in a bathroom stall that didn’t have a working lock, you can appreciate how important a bathroom partition latch is. People use a latch to prevent others from entering an occupied stall and invading their privacy when they’re in vulnerable positions.

Bathroom Partition Pilasters and Pilaster Shoes

The most widely used pilaster system includes pilasters, dividing panels, doors and hinges. The pilasters — which are stiles that join together the doors to the panels and offer supplemental privacy — are critical for the structural support of the partition. Pilasters anchor the partition to the floor and are available in a variety of sizes depending on the design. They can be integrated with an overhead brace, anchored to the floor, hung from the ceiling or anchored to both if they are full-length from floor to ceiling. Pilaster shoes hide the hardware used to mount the post to the floor and are usually installed at the bottom of the pilaster.

Additional Bathroom Partition Parts

While headrails, panels, doors, latches and pilasters are critical components of a bathroom stall, a typical restroom partition includes a host of additional parts. These parts often include the following:

  • Headrail brackets
  • Wall brackets
  • Tamper-proof screws
  • Knobs and door pulls
  • U-brackets
  • Bottom shoes
  • Hooks and doorstops
  • Strike and keepers
  • Hinges and related hardware
